New Course Alert: AI in Education

June 22nd, 2026 12:01PM

AI in Education: Preparing Educators for an AI-Powered Future
Eduhero is proud to announce its new course, AI in Education, which has been certified by the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) under Texas law! This course is aligned with Texas AI awareness training requirements and supports statewide efforts to prepare the public sector workforce to use artificial intelligence responsibly. Participants will learn how to apply responsible AI practices through human oversight, accountability, and informed decision-making.

As AI continues to shape the future of education, AI literacy is becoming an essential skill. This course empowers educators with the knowledge and confidence to navigate emerging technologies while keeping student success and safety at the center of their work.

You Should Know: Eduhero's AI in Education course is certified by the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) through August 31, 2027. The certification period applies to the course and indicates how long it remains an approved AI awareness training option.

Our understanding is that certification through August 31, 2027, does not mean an individual only needs to complete the course once to satisfy future annual training requirements. For example, if an employee completes the course during the 2025–2026 school year, they will still need to complete AI awareness training again on or after September 1, 2026, to satisfy any applicable 2026–2027 training requirement.

Please consult your organization's policies and applicable state requirements regarding annual training obligations.
