McKinney-Vento Act
In Texas alone, approximately 93,000 students experiencing homelessness have been counted. School faculty, staff, and administration play an important role in helping these students. Eduhero Notification - Seizure Awareness & Cybersecurity
Hello,

We know it's a busy time of the year. But had a few important items to share. Moving forward, we are going to send notifications for important information.

This email is to inform you that we are removing the Seizure Awareness course from Eduhero. During the 86th Legislative Session, this course was added as a requirement and must be TEA-Approved. The ONLY TEA approved course is provided by The Epilepsy Foundation and can be found here. It can be taken free of charge. We apologize for any inconvenience but want to avoid any confusion.

Any user that has completed Seizure Awareness will keep their certificate and CPE credit. However, it will be removed from any Plan. Please let me know if there are any issues on your end.

In addition to this change, we have great news. We have added a DIR-Approved Cybersecurity for Educators course. It is included, at no additional cost, to our current Heroic Package subscribers. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us. We are happy to help. Have a great day.

Thank you for another successful in-service!
Thank you for making the 2014 in-service week an exciting success in Eduhero. Since August 13th, we have provided over 31,000 certificates to educators! Also, we have recently gained over 7,000 NEW users. The activity in Eduhero has been double to triple the activity from last year and we couldn't have done it without the dedicated support and communication from all of our users.

All of the improvements in Eduhero come from your suggestions. We ask that you continue to send as much feedback as possible -- we listen. We always encourage course and site suggestions and review them accordingly as it is our goal to deliver the best platform possible. Again, thank you for your continued support. Please keep Eduhero in mind as you continue your professional development throughout the year!

Also, we would love to hear your success stories! Please leave a comment as to how your district utilized Eduhero.
